FAQs

Answers before you set sail

Common questions about working with a broker, timelines, and what to expect.

Do you charge broker fees?

Many home loan applications are commission-funded by the lender, so there may be no broker fee to you. Some specialised or commercial transactions can attract a fee. We will confirm any costs in writing before you proceed.

How many lenders can you access?

We work with a panel of more than forty Australian lenders and specialist funders. That breadth helps us match rate, features and serviceability to your situation.

How long does a home loan approval take?

Simple applications can receive indicative approval within a few business days. Complex income or credit scenarios take longer. We set expectations early and keep you updated.

Can you help if I am self-employed?

Yes. We regularly assist sole traders and company directors using tax returns, BAS statements and accountant letters. Different lenders treat self-employed income differently, which is where panel access helps.

Do you help with investment properties?

We do. We discuss interest-only versus principal-and-interest, cash-flow buffers, and how a new loan sits beside your existing portfolio.

What documents should I prepare?

Typically photo ID, recent payslips or financials, account statements, and details of existing debts and assets. We send a tailored checklist after your first conversation.

Are you a bank?

No. We are an independent finance brokerage. We provide credit assistance and help you apply to lenders that suit your needs.

Which areas do you cover?

We primarily assist clients in New South Wales and Victoria, and we can often support clients elsewhere in Australia remotely.
